Are you entitled to a FREE replacement boiler?

Ridgewater Energy are committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, partners and clients we help. With this in mind, please find below the following notice for our schemes and operations;

LEAP – All LEAP visits will be cancelled from 24th March 2020 until the situation allows us to move forward. In the meantime, should you require urgent assistance, please do emails us and where possible, we can provide energy advice over the phone. Referrals can still be received but will be placed on hold until further notice.

ECHO – As LEAP visits within this funding scheme year are having to be cancelled, we have some funding to allocate to ECHO again (previously closed on 14th February 2020) – this is for owner occupiers in a no-heat situation and classified as urgent. Funding will be available for a brief period and installations can only be carried out if both the installer and occupant are fit and well, in agreement and extra precautions are taken in order to minimise the risk of infection.

RIDGEWATER ENERGY OFFICE – Our office operations remain covered, but staff will be working from home where possible, with phone lines being diverted. We ask if you do need to contact us, to email us at info@ridgewaterenergy.co.uk as this mailbox is being constantly monitored.

VOLUNTEERING – If Ridgewater Energy are able to assist any local organisations with collections and deliveries, please let us know (contact Peter@ridgewaterenergy.co.uk), and we’ll see if we can help.

We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and act in accordance with Government guidelines, while doing our best to offer our service and support where possible.

About ECHO

UPDATE 23RD MARCH 2020: Due to LEAP referrals being placed on hold (see Covid-19 notification), excess funding has been made available for a brief period to cover new ECHO referrals. Should you have any referrals, please email Ridgewater Energy ASAP and we will endeavour to ensure they are helped as part of this funding extension, with necessary Government guidelines and precautions observed.

NOTICE 11TH FEBRUARY 2020: Due to exceptional levels of referrals and applications for ECHO over the winter, ECHO will be closing to new referrals as of 14th February 2020, as the funds for this scheme year have all now been committed. The programme will be available later in the year and we will advise once reopened, we anticipate late summer, early autumn. It is our expectation that all clients referred into the programme before this date will be honoured, except in extenuating circumstances.

ECHO (Emergency Central Heating Offer) is a funded heating scheme that offers emergency assistance to qualifying households to repair or replace broken or condemned gas boilers.

Over winter a lack of heating and hot water can have a severe impact on the health and wellbeing of those most affected by the cold.

If you are an owner occupier with a broken gas boiler, you may be eligible for a fully funded (subject to survey) brand new, A rated energy efficient gas boiler replacement. This scheme is not the same as some other part funded schemes as every qualifying household is entitled to the same level of assistance regardless of the property type for example. So if you have tried in vain previously, please call us as we may be able to assist.

ECHO is provided by AgilityEco along with its partners, (in Dorset – Ridgewater Energy) and funded by five energy companies through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative Scheme. Launched in 2017, ECHO helped over 1500 households in need with either a boiler repair or replacement.

You may qualify if you have :
