ECHO Emergency Central Heating Offer has closed as of Monday 8th February 2021. Any existing referrals already submitted will be processed as normal, subject to availability. Any referrals received after this date, will be added to a limited waiting list and will be processed in the next scheme year, once the new funding has been made available and the scheme reopens. We anticipate ECHO will reopen August/September 2021. Ridgewater Energy are working in the background, to see if there are any other funding opportunities in the meantime, but this will take some weeks to arrange.

About ECHO

ECHO (Emergency Central Heating Offer) is a funded heating scheme that offers emergency assistance to qualifying households to repair or replace broken or condemned gas boilers. Ridgewater Energy help those throughout Dorset to obtain funding where eligible.

Over winter a lack of heating and hot water can have a severe impact on the health and wellbeing of those most affected by the cold.

If you are an owner occupier with a broken gas boiler, you may be eligible for a fully funded (subject to survey) brand new, A rated energy efficient gas boiler replacement. This scheme is not the same as some other part funded schemes as every qualifying household is entitled to the same level of assistance regardless of the property type for example. So if you have tried in vain previously, please call us as we may be able to assist.

ECHO is provided by AgilityEco along with its partners, (in Dorset – Ridgewater Energy) and funded by five energy companies through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative Scheme. Launched in 2017, ECHO helped over 1500 households in need with either a boiler repair or replacement.
