About ECHO

NOTICE: Due to exceptional levels of referrals and applications for ECHO over the winter, ECHO will be closing to new referrals as of 14th February 2020, as the funds for this scheme year have all now been committed. The programme will be available later in the year and we will advise once reopened, we anticipate late summer, early autumn.

It is our expectation that all clients referred into the programme before this date will be honoured, except in extenuating circumstances.

ECHO (Emergency Central Heating Offer) is a funded heating scheme that offers emergency assistance to qualifying households to repair or replace broken or condemned gas boilers.

Over winter a lack of heating and hot water can have a severe impact on the health and wellbeing of those most affected by the cold.

If you are an owner occupier with a broken gas boiler, you may be eligible for a fully funded (subject to survey) brand new, A rated energy efficient gas boiler replacement. This scheme is not the same as some other part funded schemes as every qualifying household is entitled to the same level of assistance regardless of the property type for example. So if you have tried in vain previously, please call us as we may be able to assist.

ECHO is provided by AgilityEco along with its partners, (in Dorset – Ridgewater Energy) and funded by five energy companies through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative Scheme. Launched in 2017, ECHO helped over 1500 households in need with either a boiler repair or replacement.
