Welcome to

Ridgewater Energy

We provide expert advice and assistance to home owners, landlords and private tenants in assessing and sourcing funding and quotations for insulation, heating and renewable energy upgrades in the South of England.

Ridgewater Energy are committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, partners and the clients we help. With this in mind, please find below the following notice for our schemes and operations;

LEAP – is on hold, but is set to return in August and this will be confirmed soon. In the meantime, should you require urgent assistance, please do email us and where possible, we can provide energy advice over the phone.

ECHO Boiler scheme – The ECHO funders were determined to ensure the continuity of the scheme beyond the usual scheme year closure in March/April given the COVID-19 pandemic. In large part because, in many cases, self-isolation increased the need for heating and hot water for comfort and hygiene. We’re pleased to say that since the country first went into lockdown ECHO has arranged for and funded 430 boiler repairs and replacements to be carried out for vulnerable clients with no central heating or hot water.

Unfortunately, ECHO will now have to temporarily close to new referrals to ensure that sufficient funding is retained to meet the schemes core objective of providing emergency support to fuel poor households in a no heat situation throughout the winter heating season. It is hoped that ECHO will be able to reopen to referrals from September onwards and that this step will allow for the provision of support throughout the winter.

Warmer Homes Fund – surveys and installations are taking place but there are still no new gas connections being carried out, so there will be delays on this with existing and new applications.

Insulation – we are carrying out surveys now and installers are installing the works.

EPC’s – we are also carrying Energy Performance Certificates now for occupied as well as unoccupied properties.

RIDGEWATER ENERGY OFFICE – Our office operations remain covered, but staff will be working from home where possible, with phone lines being diverted. We ask if you do need to contact us, to email us at info@ridgewaterenergy.co.uk as this mailbox is being constantly monitored.

We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and act in accordance with Government guidelines, while doing our best to offer our service and support where possible. We will wear protective equipment for our own health and safety and yours, please don’t be offended when you see us wearing this when we come to visit.
